Cycling Shoes Development & Production

Designed as a fully integrated performance system, this cycling shoe combines advanced carbon sole architecture and upper material engineering, developed through iterative testing and validation prior to industrial scale production.

We handled both the structural carbon fiber sole design and upper construction of this cycling shoe. During the research and development phase, the project involved comprehensive engineering of the carbon sole components alongside the development of compatible upper materials and bonding systems for optimal integration.

Each component underwent specific laboratory testing to validate performance and durability characteristics. The carbon sole was tested for stiffness, flex patterns, and structural integrity under cycling load conditions. The upper materials were evaluated for breathability, flexibility, and wear resistance. Bonding systems were tested for adhesion strength and longevity. Together with our partner, we conducted significant assembly line optimization work to improve work quality and efficiency, while reducing waste and enhancing production consistency.

This cycling shoe project covered the complete product lifecycle from initial carbon sole engineering through upper design phases to final mass production and assembly lines. Throughout the project, we maintained a constant feedback exchange on laboratory test results, allowing continuous refinement of each component and their integration before advancing to subsequent development phases, ensuring readiness for scaled manufacturing implementation.
