Case study
Knee Protector
We handled the development of this motorcycle knee protector focusing on both protective and comfort systems. The composite protective shell was designed and manufactured using sustainable certified materials sourced through our internal network ensuring compliance with environmental standards while maintaining structural requirements.
The comfortable internal padding has been designed, developed and mass produced using our thermoforming know-how. This component required specific material selection and forming processes to achieve the necessary cushioning properties while maintaining compatibility with the protective shell integration.
The 3D CAD models were developed following the technical drawings provided by the client, translating their specifications into detailed digital designs for both shell and padding components. Initial prototypes were produced in-house, with iterative refinements based on client feedback. Following prototype approval, we proceeded to mold manufacturing for mass production implementation.
