Plastidue Achieves ISO 45001 Certification

Plastidue, part of the Nearby Group, has obtained ISO 45001 certification for occupational health and safety management systems, formalizing an approach to workplace safety that the company has been building and refining for years.

Managing complexity on the production floor

Working in thermoplastic injection molding means managing a production environment that’s inherently complex. Manufacturing processes, material handling, warehouse logistics, quality control: each of these areas involves its own set of risks, and keeping everything running safely requires real coordination between people, processes, and equipment.

ISO 45001 gave Plastidue a framework to make that coordination more systematic, from internal monitoring and risk prevention to operational procedures and ongoing evaluation. The certification process also meant consolidating internal procedures, strengthening reporting systems, and reviewing how non-conformities are tracked and addressed.

Putting the framework into practice

Training is a concrete part of this picture. In 2025 alone, Plastidue dedicated over 700 hours specifically to workplace health and safety training, alongside additional programs covering operational procedures and professional development.
